RGB Spectrum to Showcase MultiPoint Control Room Management System at InfoComm MEA

October 14, 2013–Alameda, Calif., U.S. – RGB Spectrum will present attendees of InfoComm MEA with the latest innovations in decision support solutions, including interactive demonstrations of the company’s MultiPoint® Control Room Management System (MCMS), Multiviewers, Codecs, and Enterprise Switchers.

Fully-featured, modular and customizable, MCMS is a complete hardware and software solution that enables multiple operators to manage a facility’s system resources more effectively. In today’s information-rich environment, RGB Spectrum’s MCMS significantly improves the ability of control room operators to display, manipulate and react to data.

MCMS integrates disparate systems under the control of a single unified interface, and can be used for control management in a variety of applications: command centers, security operations centers, emergency operations centers, process control and SCADA systems integration.

MCMS is a configurable, collaborative system that supports:

  • Multiple operator stations with dedicated displays
  • Multiple-user keyboard/video/mouse (KvM) control of shared resources
  • Local switching of full resolution, uncompressed signals
  • IP access to remote resources
  • A shared video display wall
  • Intuitive “drag-and-drop” GUI

Offering HD resolution at full frame rates, KvM functionality, resource arbitration, intuitive system navigation and compelling security features, MCMS provides an ideal solution for mission-critical, real-time display and control management requirements.

RGB Spectrum will also showcase the capabilities of their SuperView 4100 Multiviewer, which can display up to eight windows on a single monitor with complete layout flexibility and superb image quality. Our multiviewers offer the most powerful multi-image display processing solutions in the industry, with integrated KvM and real-time high resolution display, as well as design features that enhance security and reliability.

In addition, attendees of InfoComm MEA can experience demonstrations of RGB Spectrum’s DSx Codecs, which provide concurrent streaming and recording of video and graphics sources with resolutions up to 1920×1200. Providing best-in-class image quality, the codecs can record and play back live video streams for review, analysis and archival purposes.

Finally, booth visitors can watch an informational video about our Opto Fiber Optic Matrix Switchers and Endpoints. Available in chassis sizes up to 320 inputs x 320 outputs, Opto systems support a variety of input and output signals, including single and dual-link DVI, HDMI, 3G/HD-SDI, RGB and YUV. Featuring the highest transmission bandwidth on the market (6.22 GHz), and unmatched power and versatility, Opto switchers and endpoints are ideal for enterprise-level switching applications.

Jed Deame, VP of Marketing for RGB Spectrum, will be presenting a seminar entitled “Integrating Multiple Disparate Systems under a Single, Intuitive Control System” on October 21st and 23rd, from 5:00-6:00pm. This informative presentation will discuss RGB Spectrum’s solutions for system integration, with a focus on the specific requirements of security control rooms.

Be sure to stop by booth #TA-102 at InfoComm MEA (October 20th-24th, Dubai, UAE) to experience our display processing and control room management solutions in action. For more information on RGB Spectrum’s full line of products, please visit us at http://www.rgb.com.
