AVAD LLC, North America’s leading distributor of custom electronics, announced it has entered in a distribution agreement with Home Automation, Inc. (HAI), a leading manufacturer of integrated security and home automation products. Through the partnership, AVAD dealers will now have access to HAI products, including a full range of home automation products and accessories designed to accommodate any lifestyle and budget. AVAD will feature new products from HAI as part of its “One Call Does it All” demo at booth #1765 at CEDIA Expo 2009, held September 10-13 in Atlanta, Ga.
The HAI line of home automation products now offered by AVAD includes the easy-to-install HAI OmniTouch 5.7, a 5.7 inch color touch screen, offering one-touch control of security systems, temperature, lighting, entertainment systems and more. AVAD dealers will also be able to offer their clients energy-saving products, including the HAI Omnistat2 thermostat, which utilizes digital technology to determine the heating and cooling patterns of an area and subsequently helps adjust a system for efficiency.
“HAI has an outstanding reputation as one of the premier providers of complete, integrated home control solutions and we are pleased to offer our dealers their line of home control products and accessories,” said Jim Annes, vice president and general manage of AVAD. “Providing security and access control, energy management and home theater and whole-house audio and video control, HAI products provide our dealers with profitable control solution designed to easily integrate with virtually any job and any number of subsystems and components.”
In addition to having access to AVAD’s extensive network of over 10,000 dealers, HAI will also be able to provide dealers with the industry’s best and most frequent training at AVAD’s 28 North American branches, after-sale customer support to ensure dealers have all the information and tools they need to maximize their profitability with each installation, as well as next day delivery for more responsive customer service, improved turns and higher profits.
“With the recent launch of several HAI home entertainment products, and the desire for dealers to increase solutions as well as profits, AVAD offers the proper channel for HAI’s products and support programs,” explains HAI President and CEO, Jay McLellan. “HAI appreciates joining the many quality manufacturers currently offered by AVAD and is excited about building another strong relationship.”
